Dragstrip I hang out at has whats called Fast n Furious Fridays to attract the street racers. Its usually pretty funny to see some of these guys. Last time a bunch of hondas, toyotas n mazdas showed up. Most were bone stock yet they had ripped out 1/2 there interiors and anything else they could.One was even missing his rear bumper n cover as well. Im a firm believer in weight reduction (14.5% in full race mode) but the best these guyswere running was 16.0. (most a lot slower)LOL Dont get me wrong, I do respect theseriousricers.We have a few really fast ricers that come to the track (none that night) </P>

Yeah some had neons lol. No, I try to stay away from them for the most part. I did run about 6 different trucks though. Only one came close to keeping up, 305 ext cab s10. Beat severly; Chev ex cab, Ram sb and another s10. One Dak did ok but was still 1sec behind n 10-15 lengths.

Why are they referred to as "serious ricers"? no ricer is "serious", thats the whole idea of calling someone a ricer so its a totally self contradicting statement.

Im sorry but I take offense to the term ricer, just because a car is an import doesnt mean its "rice". Rice is an attitude and style of modding a car. As much as alot domestic drivers hate to admit it, a stock Civic will kick your *** in Auto X and some other forms of road racing.

Thats an S14 thats been turboed using the stock KA24DE engine with an auto to manual transmission swap using an SR20DET transmission. Thats a KA24DET, KA24DE means torque (rare in imports I know <img border="0" src=smileys/smiley17.gif border="0">) and turbo means quick. <img border="0" src=smileys/smiley3.gif border="0"> However this isnt really a racing car, judging from his whole setup hes more into drifting, beautiful car nonetheless.
