Dunno, I once watched a guy flame it on the launch (how embarassing) and it took him a while to get it restarted. The car in the other lane was almost through the traps by the time he got it started and rolled pass the 330' beams...

 

i ran a neon on the bracket last year in the CCs, he dialed 20 flat, and i dialed 12.70..he was past half track when i launched...the next round, i ran someones tow vehicle who dialed 22.70...how about a ten second spot...

yes, i drove around him.

 

That happend to my dad when he was running low 11's with his 383 powered 65 Satellite... unfort for my dad he missed 2nd gear.

I guess my biggest kill was against my freind with his 400 chevelle. I had recently bought the Roadrunner and it had a 13 year old 9:1 440 with no porting, a 509 cam, 3.23 gears and I replaced the 4 speed with a 727 and a 3500 stall converter. I had it running 12.7's at the time.
He had just built his 406 smallblock and had 3.42 gears and was running low 13's.
Well I had a plug wire burn up and was ready to call it a day when he saw that I had a cylinder out and he started talking crap and challenging me to a race in front of all the chevy faithful.
So being the Moparman, I could not refuse a challenge and opportunity to beat up on a chevy, no matter how easy LOL!
So we lined up and had similar lights, but the old bird came through with a 13.01 @ 103 on 7 cylinders to his 13.26 @ 102!!! Haha, I had more MPH with basically a 390ci engine than he did with a 406. My car was lighter though, 3700 to his 3850, but still made slightly more hp.
That was a dark day for the bowtie bozos! LOL
