I beat some old style Corolla, by like 4 car lengths before we even reached 60 MPH, lol. I think he bogged out nasty, or it was just that slow

my and my dad were coming back from a hockey game and a nissan centra was next to us he revved, so we revved back a couple times, had i dont remeber exactly, 5-6 car length when he turned off

 

A trailered in Drag Only car I ran an 11.7 he ran an 11.8, and I got about a .1 jump off the line. I think his exact words were "Wow, I didn't see that coming."

 

i had some moron in a roadrunner at the norwalk classics tell me that "there was no way that my little small block car could be competitive with a big block muscle car"

until i dialed in faster than him AND drove around him on the big end.

i remember that one because the guy was such a dick...i had another guy tell me that he was gonna crush me, and he was running high 10s...as we got side by side toward the line, he blew the motor and i won...

 

I ran over a dog once.

 

On my way into work this morning, I came up to a light behind a 69 Roadrunner. The light turned green and he took off, I took off behind him and was able to get up next to him. From a 40 mph roll, I got him. If we would have gone from the light, he would have killed me (traction issues, and he had fat meats on the back of the car). It had 440 six pack decals on it, but I don't know if it was a real one. I had to get into the left turn lane to go to work, he gave me a nod as he drove past me. It was an older guy and he seemed pretty cool. I think that may be the biggest kill I've had so far. This one and my buddy's 97 Z-28. The Z was a little sweeter just because of the **** talking I heard before we raced. "Where do you put the batteries?" "It sounds like a blow dryer"....he doesn't talk **** anymore. One of the best things about living around Detroit is the summer-time car scene. You will see just about everything there is to see around here. There are cruise nights all over the place and alot of very cool rides.

My Formula gets most of the kills but I guess we will wait to see what happens after the Hemi gets broken in...

Most memorable kill was against an unrecongnizable import (still no idea what it was)... This kid came up next to me when I was heading home from the track, sticky tires still on the back and numbers still on the car. This kid asked th obvious "So do you race it?' I said no it's too slow, he said his high winged monster runs 11.50's and then asked "want to run it?" I looked at him and said "Dude seriously it's slow.. I only run Low 13's, but if you want to, sure"

We stoped at the next light, and then we were off I dead hooked and it felt like a beter launch then I was getting on the track.. And I am walking past this thing quickly, as I see the front tires spinning like crazy... Well I have such a lead that I figured he wanted to start over, so I let out when I got to about 80 and he was still back there quite a bit, and he never got closer after I let off so he obviously did as well. When we get to the next light and he had rolled up his windows and is staying about 1/2 a car back and trying to ignore me...

The next week I saw the car run at the strip and he did run a 11.62, so I have no clue what happened that night. I decided to go ask, but the guy kept calling me a lier and said my car is faster then I told him and I was trying to sandbag him...

Oh well, I guess if he wants to believe that he can, but the car has never run better then a 13.17 @ 103.8, but it beat his 11 second high winged, neon glowing, ricer (I assume). Just because the driver wanted to go from a stop aganist me when it was obvious I had just left the track and he was on street tires...

 

My almost all stock 95 neon killed a 93 or 4 Eagle Talon. I think i was at the end of the quarter mile when he got to the 60 foot mark
