Hey all, I got lucky and won this weekend in Pro! There were alot of good cars so it was extra gratifying. The car ran well and I took out a bunch of Chevies and two Fords in the final two rounds. On top of that the car ran a best evr 11.53 @ 116.5 so I'm thinking mission accomplished with my Street/Strip car since I don't want a cage, 11.49 is the limit.
Final round the guy redlit so I had a nice liesurely run to the stripe!

Was that done on street tires as well? Man I'd love to be able to hook up on street tires at the strip, at least as well as they hook on the street. I took mine out this weekend on the street tires (still waiting for wheels for the slicks) and ran a best of 13.4@119 spinning through 1st & 2nd. Later on it cooled off & the track got worse & I spun through 3rd as well. [&:]

One of these days (after I get my slicks) I'll have to make a road trip up to Vegas.

 

Yes, it was on DOT legal Mickey Thompson Sportsman Pros. They arent the greatest but I liked them for a compromise om the street.
I am going to order the new Drag Radials next.

Thanks All! It's been alot of work but I got a bad little ride now. I have to race a couple more events then it's time for body/paint/interior work. Maybe I should get some axles too!
