NBC/TNT Gone after 2006? ....word has already been leaked to the staff at NBC and TNT not to expect to come back following the 2006 [NASCAR Nextel Cup] season.(Yahoo Sports)(9-20-2005)

I dont like the fact that these Tv networks are broadcasting races on their sister cable networks. It makes it hard for people who dont have cable or satellite to watch the races. There is a rumor going around that ESPN may pick up after 2006, but I think its totally wrong; especially a if it is the main channel for a half of a season.

 

That's weird, NBC and TNT, as well as FOX and FX, had a joint contract with NASCAR to broadcast race events through 2006. This must be wrong!!

 

It actually might be pretty true. I was part of a group of people to write to NASCAR about the poor job that TNT and NBC did.

NBC - Nothing But Commercials
TNT - We know commercials.

TNT and NBC suck. They don't even come back from commercials to see the restarts. They go to commercials every freakin 20 minutes, and they don't show what should be shown.

Actualy, NBC means NASCAR Between Commercials.
NBC and TNT both suck, But Im more worried NASCAR will decide to go to Pay-per-view or something.[:@]

Well, they have FOX and FX for the races before football season. Other than that, they will have to find another network. Or maybe just have all the races on FX... Cause I garuntee, FOX won't give up NFL for NASCAR.

What do you mean? Waltrip does his, "boogity, boogity, boogity", on FOX. I don't think FOX is losing NASCAR.
