They look bigger and boxier. They remind me more of the old school cars. I'd have to see some better pics but I think they look ok.

The sport is constantly evolving. It doesn't really matter what the car looks like (too much) .Its up to the driver and the team to get to that checkered flag first.

The current body styles look the best, of all the body styles NASCAR has had.

Default RE: Car of Tomorrow! (Ganassi doesn't want wing)

Ganassi doesn't want wing: While the wing on the NASCAR "car of tomorrow" is intriguing, team owner Chip Ganassi said that he didn't want to see a wing on the cars. Ganassi said he is happy that NASCAR has had dialogue with the teams and considered their input - and he hopes that could include eliminating the idea of a wing on the cars. Ganassi has had experience with wings in open-wheel and road racing. "There better not be a wing on the car of tomorrow," Ganassi said. "It is an area that is wide open and rampant for cheating, and it's an area that's very hard to police. Why they would want to get involved in something that's hard to police, I have no idea."(NASCAR Scene Daily Newsletter)(1-31-2006)

No Wings!? Wouldnt the handling on those cars be worse than they are now. You have to put something to give a car that goes 195 mph some downforce.

Well there is a difference between a wing and a spoiler. A spoiler is used mainly for downforce and speed. A wing is used for turning ability and balance.

The current cars have a spoiler one them now. What he is saying, is that he doesn't want them to change it to a wing. As they would probably go a little slower, but turn better. He wants them to keep it the same.
