Default Charger Daytona

I was out grabbing bite for the wife and my son Saturday night in McKinney and pulled up behind a new Daytona Charger on Lake Forest and Eldorado Pkwy. We turned onto Eldorado and drove down to the light just short of Central Expressway. We left the light and my car got very loose getting into second gear (damn blower!) I followed the person into the parking lot of the Texas Roadhouse because I wanted to get a closer look at the car and maybe shoot the breeze for a few minutes. The person picked up somebody and headed out before I got a chance to pull along side. If you are on this forum and read this, maybe next time we can stop for a few minutes and give me a tour of your new ride! It is a beautiful car! Then we can go out and try our little run again under more favorable conditions! Enjoy your new car!

where does your son sit if you have a back seat delete?

and i really hope that you dont expect any real challenge from that guy...with the mods that you have you should be into the 11s...and that "charger" would be fortunate to run in the 13s.

My son was not with me when I was out, I was just getting them some food. For cruise nights my son will ride in the other front seat as my wife pretty much refuses to ride in the car at all. She is a little 'fancy' and prefers her Yukon! I know that my car is substantially quicker than the Charger, I was more interested in getting a closer look at it. As for my performance, I am not quite in the 11's, deep into the 12's but certainly not 11's! Thanks for the boost of confidence though!

Thank you for the compliment. 'Stealthy' is the look that I want. I liked the clean, plain lines of the Bullitt and did not want to mess with it much. I did put on the Mach I Grill Delete and Chin Spoiler as well as add the 18X9 Bullitt Replica wheels. Cross drilled rotors are going on this weekend and I am 'working' the wife for an intercooler (air-to-air) install in the spring. The blower is pretty quiet when not idling, so I have taken more than a few people by surprise from a roll on the freeway!

Are you on dfwstangs.net at all man? Love the Bullit! That and a 65 2+2 Fastback are the only 'Stangs that I want.

how about mustangforums.com? that is an affliate site of this one.

anyway, if you want to get a look at the back of a charger, youll have to go to a dealership...

Thanks again for the compliment. I spend most of my free time on IMBOC and SVTPerformance. I will check out the other forums, I just moved to Texas from L.A. so I am not that familiar yet with the local boards. Funny comment about seeing the 'back' of a Charger! I think they are great looking cars and lets face it, stock for stock, that car would have killed mine off the showroom floor. But, I couldn't have that now could I?
