Default old school vs nu skool

This race is the one I remember the most. Ok one day I was on a road trip to north California. I was about an hour south of bakersfield heading north on I-5, I think that was the one. Anyways I was going through a canyon and really like to push the speed a little bit. I was in my mustang and wanted to see how it handled at high speed cornering. Well I looked in my rear view mirror to see a late model C4 corvette running up on me. At that time I thought we had about the same hp, if the C4 was stock. I knew I could not handle him on top speed but I want to give him a hard time no matter what. While in the canyon he stayed on my bumper, and I was not in it 100% but I was putting some serious G on the car. As we were going into the last turn before leaving the canyon I ran 3rd to 100 mph. I shifted hard into 4th and started to walk it out. We came out of the canyon to find about 5-10 miles of no turns. I watch as the speedo went pass 110/115/120 and the corvette was still coming hard. I thought he was going to pass me at any moment. Yet at 125 he started to back off, and I went up to 130 just to make sure he was not trying something. SO I did not know it the driver was looking out for CHP (california highway patrol) or they did not want any part of that speed. i pulled into the left lane and slowed to 65 so I could wave at the vette driver. Well to may amazement the C4 driver was an old lady. With a beehive hair cut and everything. I'm not joking she had to be in her late 50's to early 60's. I never would have believed that grandmothers are bringing it like that.

You can never judge a book by it's cover. Earlier this year I was behind a Talon or an Eclipse, I forget which it was, but it was an AWD turbo with a big fart can exhaust, aftermarket wheels and an A pillar full of gauges, which is the only mods I could see, sitting in traffic at a red light. We both were making a left turn onto another road without a passing zone. He starts hotdog-ing it and I wasn't about to let it go unanswered, so I did the only thing I could which was to stay good and close in his rear view with my SRT-4 which I did. When he turned off onto another street later on I see that it was some grey haired guy in it when I'm use to always seeing some teenager behind the wheel of a car like that, especially when done up like it was.
