If my kid asked me to take my ram out to the track and race it, I would slap said child with a phone book. Your dad is way cooler than I will ever be. Congrats on your first race, keep it safe out there when racing on the open road.

 

Well think of it this way, if your dad had that truck and let you race it wouldn't it be bad ***? Well how bad *** would it be to your kid if you let him race it? Just make sure you trust his driving and properly teach him how to drive and handle the car/truck. My dad didn't go but it would have been cool if he went with me, that would be something fun for a father and son to do on the weekends, as opposed to not hanging with each other.

 

Hey,(uhoh) have you ran your 4x4 Hemi yet? I would love to know what it runs in an 1/8 and a 1/4. I cant find anyone who has ran one yet. Let me know how you do.

 

I got a 1500 QC 4x4 and I ran it with my G-timer w/ a friend in the car, and it ran: 0-60 8.0; 1/4 16.08@88. Some tire spin, as well as slightly up hill. I know it will do better at a track/better enviroment,and minus passengers, does give you an idea tho..
