Jackass and his Focus
Ok this kid at my school is convinced that his bone stock 00-03 Focus SE can smoke my Neon. I gave him a massive list on why it cant, being as though I have a manual and CAI and his is an auto with no mods. Give me some other reasons guys so I dont waste this kids gas or mine to prove him wrong.
Cant give you any other reasons, but there is a small chance he could beat you. It depends if he can drive that auto right. Does he have the 2.0 or 2.3 litter. Really hp wise both cars are close. But being a Neon fan I say waste the gas and smoke him.
if he's got the 2.0L engine, he's got 110 HP. If he's got the 2.3L engine, it's 145 HP.
The '95 Neon has got approximately 132 HP stock, on top of that you've got a CAI. If he's got the 2.0L engine you've got him, if he's got the 2.3L engine, I'd say it would be pretty close. He weighs 2581 lbs and you weigh 2339 lbs, both at stock weights. As long as you don't weigh 300 lbs more than him, I think you've got this in the bag. Let us know how it turns out [sm=gears.gif]

You would stomp him easily even without mods if you had the 2.0L DOHC 150 horsepower engine. I had tons of fun with my '99 R/T, it's sound and stripes drew lots of prey.
A few days ago I got threw beating up a hooked up Focus on the highway. It was fun; he wanted more and more. He jumped down on it first and I still got him. We raced about three times at night on an open road until I decided it wasn't safe.
