It's well within everyones rights to be pissed about the outcome, but why throw cans and whatever else on the track?[sm=smiley24.gif]

From the replay they showed on TV, you could see that Gordon was ahead of Jr. What can you do? I can't stand Gordon, or Jr. for that matter, but the wonderful rules that are in place were inforced.

I'm sorry if labelling the throwing offenders as "rednecks" did offend anyone. That wasn't my intention. I just wasn't sure what to call them that would be"G" rated.

They should have gone green. Then it would have been settled.

According to the lastest gossip, they are considering adopting the NASCAR truck rules for finishing, but I'd be surprised to see a change this year....[sm=smiley5.gif]

Now that I am somewhat calmer now... I didn't really care for the throwing of cans, but, as I said, I contemplated it myself. I would have preferred that they cleared whatever debris that was on the track (prior to cans, of course) and ran green the rest of the way. A race is not really won under caution,IMO,of course !
Dustyloins, I love you, man, but you're not getting my Bud Light! Neither is Jeff Gordon!
Mopartodd, it's ok, even though I can read and write in several languages, I don't mind being called a redneck. I can understand about the G rating!

Actually, I brought Bud Light to the track because you can't take bottles in the stands and Smirnoff Triple Black doesn't come in cans! After what happened Sunday, they might not allow outside beer at the track anymore! Oh, the horrors of it all!!!!![]ok, I'm ok now. Took another sip.

If they don't allow beer at the tracks, say goodbye to the sponsorship of Dale Jr., and Rusty Wallace.....among others....actually, we may be hearing "calls" for that after what happened...but I really can't see it happening....[sm=smiley5.gif]

The worst thing is, my man Sterling had a DNF![:@]
The reason they couldnt restart was because those numb-nuts JR. fans threw beer cans all over the track.
I wasnt realy dissapointed because none of the Dodge boys realy had a chance anyway.
