Hahaha, modding out a Kia? That's like sprinkling glitter on a turd.

Yes I'm a newbie but I felt like adding my .02

I was watching a TV show about Kia racing the other day and I about fell out of my chair. I didn't realize they made any kind of performance parts for them but I guess they do and some people out there feel the urge to waste their time and money on them. I personally thought it was one of the funniest things I've seen in awhile. These people were spending big $$$ on a crappy car I could beat with my stock 05 SXT. What a waste. I think it was perfectly stated with the "sprinkling glitter on a turd" comment.

Go kick that Kia's butt!!!

A Kia does not deserve the honor or racing a Neon. Shes buying a CAI for it?!?!?! Tell her to save her money and buy a REAL CAR.
I didn't even know they made performance parts for kias. I bet the riding lawnmower engine swap is the most popular mod!!!!!!! Either that or the car crusher mod.

I think putting mods on a Kia hurts performance.

I'm supposed to drag race a friend of mine, she drives a 03 kia spectra which she'll be getting a CAI for. I drove a 00 neon witha CAI, Flowmasters, and 2 1/2 downpipe, i mean i've beaten my other friends cars before, but i'm still nervous, should i be?

I know it's a stupid question but i just thought i'd ask
What do you mean by 2 1/2" downpipe? Is your car turbo'd? If it is, you better win.

Is your car a stick or auto? If it's an auto and the Kia is a stick, I wouldn't be surprised if the race is closer than people think.
