My buddy just picked up a mint 86 rx7 and bragging how fast it is and blah blah, well i caught a light with him on the highway.....
Pretty even at the start, but the end of 2nd he was at my bumper and by 3rd i had a length or two on him.
End result, he was pissed the f uck off lol

yea, do tell. Im catching up to a buddies RX7. He recently got a new engine for it out of a "less destroyed" car. He has been bragging how fast it will be, so im trying to get my car running smooth before he gets a chance to brag and beat an almost stock sxt

Good kill! But I would be impressed if it was a FD (newer Rx7's). I know a guy around town that has one(he's a total douche bag)...he beats SRT-4's and brags all day long about it...I wish he'd get beat and STFU!

I have a stock neon, I have a striaght through i think cherry resonator or I dont know what its called, in place of my old muffler. But I'm sure all it really does is make the car sound nice haha
Other than that, I guess i just know how to shift my car better than he does. Idk
But i was reading that his czar with the 13b had somewhere in the 150hp range, so its not to far from our neons.

Yeah the second generation RX-7's didnt have much going for them...they only started getting fast when they got the twin turbo 13B-REW in them in 93 or 94...
