I did the same to a friend of mine who had a 2nd gen. RX-7 with all the emissions removed, K & N intake, Pacesetter exhaust and ported and polished intake manifold. I had my '99 Neon R/T with Mopar CAI, exhaust, header, PCM and Rex motor mount inserts and beat him at the track with me shifting early and having the gas pedal cover grabbing the tunnel carpet limiting it to only about half to 3/4 throttle. We never got to run side by side, but I had the better time slips and it bummed him out after all the work he put into it removing all the BS emissins crap and porting and polishing the intake manifold.
