There are tons of posts on here about people racing Titans. They are quick off the lot, but have a lot of other issues. QC Hemi vs Crew Cab Titan is damn close. But if they have an extended cab (less weight), he'd probably edge you out. This is considering both vehicles are completely stock.

Truck Trend did a road test of all the new 1/2 tons and a 2 wd crew cab Titan did 0-60 in 7.6 seconds, a 2wd Hemi QC in 7.7. The 1/4 mile times were identical. That is race is going to come down to skill more than equipment.

What gears and size of tires are you running? That could make a difference. If you're on 20's and have 3.55's or 3.92's yeah, that SS will creep past you.
Also having a heavier 4x4 works to your dissadvantage also.

Saw a tricked out SS today that was damn fast. He tried to get me to race, but I'm not much of the racing kind. I think that he would have beat me cause I cold hear a blower whine to his truck. I then saw his back window add for a local speed shop as he passed by. Nice looking truck, but not for me. I'll take my Ram any day of the week.
