Anyone here ever raced an acura integra. I have a 2004 hemi ram that I bought myself used and of course a boy the next day wanted to race it. It's a 94 dual overhead cam 4 banger integra and he talks more **** to me that u can imagine. Just wonderin if anyone else has raced one. My truck is bone stock, short bed regular cab.

 

I'd be careful, those integras can be faaaast for 4bangers. Specially if he's done anything to it.

Plus i have the 17" inch rims. In a few days im going to get a flowmaster in place of my stock muffler and I have been thinking about one of those computer chips. I was wondering are they worth the money and do they help out alot?

 

Ahhh, well, if its stock, then smoke him. Never hurts to try anyways. If you lose its just an excuse to buy more parts ;-)

Not a fan of chips, I'd spend the money on headers.

 

If this guy really wants to race you ,race him going backwards,When I was a kid many years ago Some guy with a 57 Plymouth Fury wanted to race Me ,All I had was a 6 cylinder flat head Studerbaker !947 two dr coupe. Well anyway I told him we'd race in the school parking lot after school. So he said ok. When we got there I told him that since he was the challenger I could pick the way we were going to race,So I said backwards. I won the race. The old Studerbaker would go just as fast in reverse as it did in Second gear. I never saw that guy again.

 

I raced an Acura 3.2 TL the other night... I owned him. I thought they were supposed to be fast. It was like 1am, there was snow on the roads, so I put it in 4WD HI, at lauch I was straight to WOT, I gained at least 2 truck lengths on him, at that point, he pretty much matched my speed, just stayed 2 lengths behind, I couldn't pull away, but he couldn't gain on me either... It was a fun race though. I can only imagine how much more fun it would have been, if I was in 2WD the whole time, and if it was dry pavement...

 

my buddy had a 1999 integra 4 banger with a turbo intake exhaust +++++++++++++ and that MF went over 140+ in friggen 3rd GEAR!! and it was neck snapping off the line. I have never ridden in a HEMI before, and if i have then i would probably be driving one right now... well anyways, if its stock, kill it, if hes moded...
