Ram 1500 Hemi VS 2005 GT Mustang

Ram 1500 Hemi VS 2005 GT Mustang
I have a 2005 Hemi 1500, The other day i was coming home from work and pulled up next to a 2005 mustang at a red light. He revved his engine a few times to show off the fancy exhaust work he had done, so like a loyal dodge fan i revved my 5.7 with Bossani dual exhaust back at him and initiated the race. Heres the fun part, light goes green... mustang burns about 10,000 miles off his tires, i slam my pedal to the floor leaving about 3000 miles of tread on the road and actually hooked up pretty good. After a lil under a 1/4 mile down i look in my rear view mirror to see a 2005 mustang. PRICELESS! at the next light he proceeded to tell me he had no idea that a single cab ram came in a v-8, let alone could beat a mustang GT. "You got me dude, you got me" quote on quote!

How far are you from stock? An 05' GT will get 0-60 in about 5.0 seconds.

I had one, lasted a week, I dont hate the cars, just necessarily the people that drive them, I know your grandfather recently bought one and im sure hes an awsome guy, its just that I have yet to meet another Mustang driver who hasnt been a ****, *** hole, sob. That said I know not all mustang drivers are bad, but they think they are king's of the road. While my car was fairly quick it was no monster by any means. Oddly enough V6 Mustang Driveres are worse than the GT drivers.
