One of the Audi R10s won on its first race out.

Audi R10 at Sebring

Don't know if anyone else watched, I saw the last 5 hours or so of the race on Speed channel. Good Stuff! That R10 is scary quiet, the transmission and turbos make more noise than the exhaust.

850ft.lbs of torque and top revs are at 5000 rpm. That thing is barely working! They did their home work before they brought that car out that's for sure.

I saw that race, too bad the other teammate went out. I've been watching this development for a few months now. Can't wait for LeMans, all 24hrs of coverage on Speed.

Well, LeMans was dominated by the diesel. Between the 2 cars every minute was led by an Audi diesel. Anyone else see the gearbox change? 9 minutes to change out the guts of the transmission. As an added bonus a Panoz run by a privateer won the GT2 class, nice to see an American other than the Vettes making a good show.
