Default vs civic

hey guys just wanted a couple opinions on a race.

i always thought it was dumb when people ask who would win a race (why not just go out and race), but now i understand why!! PRIDE

i have a buddy with a 2004 honda civic, (vp model.... but i dont think that does anything to the engine), manual, with only a cold air intake..... would i be able to beat him?

5.2 V8, 3.55s with 33 inch tires. any ideas?

Is your Ram 4 wheel drive? If so put it in 4 wheel low and just race a very short distance.
That should be enough to blow his doors off for a couple hundred feet or so.
Pick a spot that there are some landmarks like at a warehouse and you can race driveway to driveway.

The VP just replaced the DX as the Civic base model...115HP and 110 torque.

The chances of you losing to his Civic are almost non-existent.

Basically you are racing a car that is 90Hp to the wheels. Trust me you will win. If you don't you will be made fun of for the rest of your life.
