Default Doing some rice cookin' in the Hemi AWD Durango

Hey all,

Been doing some cooking of rice lately in the Durango. Pretty much laying down the law on these little punks in ther Celica's, even the GT-S models get smoked, and a GTP Grand Prix couldn't catch me. I'm LOVING it! This dude and his girlfriend was in there GT-S and had the tunes going, and me and my mom were driving in the "soccer mom" SUV, and pretty much humiliated him..haha, tho he used .025 gallons of gas in the race, where I used about 25 gallons, haha! Hemi's sure are gas guzzlers!

Happy Racing!

I lost to a Grand Prix GTP in my HEMI, but I am pretty sure it was modded.

I don't have any numbers yet but I think my mom's Bonneville can hang or even beat the HEMI, I'll find out when I finally get it to the track.

WEll, it was off the line, and they spun, but actually the front of the GTP was at my door and wasn't gaining, but wasn't really falling back, so I didn't "smoke it" but it didn't win, and I was ahead the whole time, so technically I won, haha. The GTP's were around 7 sec. to 60 and I tested my Durango, and it ran a 7.5. So, with the spinning in the GTP, it was prolly about where mine was regarding 0-60, and I had two passengers. But, those HEMI's are pretty quick! Oh, and what do you guys think of the new "Magnum"? Looks pretty cool, and said to be the most powerful production car under 30k.

hey scg your truck runs easily in the 12's and maybe lower huh? i'm calling you a liar but the last car i saw light up the tires while driving 40mph was a 800hp viper. it a nos and was totally rebuilt. not even a z06 with 405hp and 3100 pounds will do that. the corvettes also run around 12.5's so you must be in the low 12's even 11's or you just got some sh*ty tires. p.s. you said your truck was mostly stock, that's funny. a lot of bs going around.
