Just a little question.....
RSX Premium, stock, is 155HP @ 6500RPM, 2.0 , with a 5 speed manual, and if it is an auto it will considerably less, like say around 140HP, right?
And my SX2.0, #10 Cam, probably 135-138HP @ 6800RPM ( i think thats the magic number ) , 5 speed manual, probably lighter by a few pounds.
Should be close , right?

horsepower doesnt drop with the different transmission..if it has an advertised 155 hp, then it has that no matter what, but it will have less wheel horsepower.
i think that if it is an automatic, you will beat him.

umm, yeah, mmk, i have a "pal" who thinks his ATX RSX Premium will leave my SX far far behind. I want to proove him wrong. not saying ill kill him, but i want to show hin what a lil neon can do! And i know for a fact that his car is completely bone stock. if i think of it , ill take a pic of his car.

Racing on a track and on the street is a little different. The track is set up to allow you to hook up a little better. Then there is your reaction time, and you can pick up tenths of a second on your oppontent. Say you only can run a 15.00 and he runs a 14.7; thats three tenths and you beat him by four tenths on the tree you will beat him by one tenth. On the street he may leave before you and get you. Take it to a track to be fair to both of you.
