Bracket racer and newbie to site
Hi all mopar fans my name is James im a new member. I am a bracket racer from Mississippi. I have a '75 Plymouth Duster w/451 ci ( 440 block 55 over ) big block. Car name is Mississippi Kid. I run on a track that dont have much stopping room so they dropped the finish line to 600ft 60 ft short of a true 1/8 mile. My best time was 6.60 @ 93 mph with a 1.52 60'. Just wanted to introduce myself and invite all to check out my pics in members gallery. Thanks for the site its a good place just to meet mopar fans and good people.

RE: Bracket racer and newbie to site
Welcome to Dodge Forum, I'm guessing that you have a high 10 second car as well like Badstrat said.
That MPH is more like my Roadrunner that runs mid 11's. But I'm guessing the extra 60' would get you a 6.80 or something but that's still high tens.
I bracket race, build engines and drink beer but not all at the same time!
Great to have you here!

Thanks to all that replyed. Yes the mph is a little off do to the 60' short track.
They said to add about 4 numbers to that in a true 1/8, so that would put it around 7 flat. People that run in 1/4 tells us it would be high 10's or low 11's. It is an all motor car with 4.56 gears. It is my first motor to build but i had my dad and teamate to walk me through it. It has a 550 lift solid bump stick from comp. I run a 93/112 octane gas mixed. I am now working on a new motor. It is a 400 mopar big block with a milled 440 steel crank. A stroked 451 bb hoping to have around 700hp on motor. Talk to everyone later i hope the mph question was answered.
