ok, so me and a couple buddies are hanging out at blockbuster (one of my buddies works there and was gonna need a ride when he got off)

i see this white accord with a bodykit and a NOS sticker on his window pull up to Burger King and rev up as im outside blockbuster smoking a cigarette. i laugh at him and go inside


my buddy tells me that the kid really does have a 50 shot on his accord, and says that he thinks its really fast, i say "maybe i should punk him in the dakota then"

my buddies laugh and agree, and my buddy clocks out and we go get in my truck.


we look over at BK and see him with his trunk popped showing everyone his NOS bottle and purges his nitrous.

we drive over by him and he backs out in front of me and starts to leave, so i follow him. we drive for a bit before the lanes clear up and i get next to him doing about 35-40.

i have it in 2nd gear (its an automatic) and i give a little romp on the gas to my my truck jump forward a bit. he looks over with 2 other people in his car and they laugh....we will see who is laughing in a second...he downshifts, and punches it and i do the same...me and my 2 buddies hear the car suddenly get loud and i realize he must actually have a bottle full of "power"

i have like a bumper on him till he sprays, and then he starts to creep up next to me, but by the time i hit 55, i start to pull away from him NASTY.

i shut down at about 65-70 and i pulled a good full truck on him.

the 98-2002 accord with the V6 had 200/195...and in coupe form, with a manual trans, is a pretty fast car...looks like a stock 14 second vehicle...not sure about the sedans...with a 50 shot, that should cut about a half second, which would put it well into the low 14s...and ive seen a 4 cylinder accord from that era, with a 5-speed, and a 70 shot run in the low 14s...like a 14.30 or so...

 

i have no idea if it was a 98-02 tho....and i know that stock accords arent a STOCK 14 second car...your crazy if you think that...hell, why would people go buy a S2000 if a stock accord came close to its performance??

and my buddy said the car runs a 17.1 stripped, and i run a 17.4 in 90 degree weather...so i dont see how its IMPOSSIBLE!

 

the S2Ks are very expensive for what it is...which is one reason why someone would buy an accord instead of the S2K...also, the S2K is useless if you need to move more than one person, or any kind of luggage..its tiny.

also i was mistaken..i confused the years, the V6 coupes, 98-2002 with a manual transmission, is a mid 15 to high 15 second vehicle...bone stock. the next generation of the accord coupe was the 14 second model...but with a good driver, a 50 shot should shave at least a half second..putting him into the 14s easily. think about it this way..the stratus coupe with a manual is around 15.7 stock...with VERY minor mods, guys have gotten them into the high 14s...and it has very similar power to that era of accord...with a 50 shot, ive seen RTs in the mid 14s...

also, i am amazed that your truck didnt put down better times...so you know the guy with this accord?? i cant find any performance info on the 4 cylinder models...but theyre surely weak.

 

The body styles on the Accords/Civics have had 4 noticable changes in like the last 10 years....so it could very well have been an 03 Accord....
