I did a tire smoking 13.6 at 106 mph in the daytona. the tires smoked clear past the eigth mile mark ,it was awsome.
o ya that was with the original tires still on it. I did a V8 conversion and ran a 360 with four speed . now i'm changing over to a 5.7 hemi with T56 six speed it should be lots of fun! If you got any questions on the conversion just email exlinecustomauto@frontiernet.net . there have been a lot of people interested in the swap .

now if i could just get a set of slicks for the rear ? what would it have ran?[sm=gears.gif]

My stock 99 2500 V10 4x4 is probably 16.8-17.3 give or take
My 96 5.9 Indy stock was around 16.3 (May 96)
NA, the 5.9 bone stock from tb down, all bolt ons/full exh/wt red it ran a best et of 13.99/96mph(Oct 01/4035lb w/me). As far as I know, only Ram with a stock 5.9 to run a 13 pass (only did it once) WIth mild top end mods, legal exhaust and beefier driveline it slowed down to 14.08 best (stripped down/4000lbs even w/me)

First full blower pass end of the season last fall with a stock computer limiting the rpms and mph it ran a 12.91/102 (Oct 05) @ approx 4250lbs w/me (13.8/104 running like crap/mp pcm/smt6 tuner)

This year, with the 408 going in shortly (if I ever get the freakn block back), May squeek into the 12s (if lucky) with it naturally aspriated. Running 7-8psi of boost, with FAST tuning, I expect to see solid 11s (mid/hi) and 115mph traps. Ill see soon enough i guess lol.

i would need more info, like your 60 foot time...but with a trap speed of 106, that would be a mid 12 second run, with a good launch.
