Ok, Im driving home and this moron in daddys 300 comes flying up next to me, evidently he wanted to race. Would I have been able to beat him??? He had I think 4 other people in the car. I would have loved to kick his ***, but I have some points and didnt want to risk it.

 

what trim line? and what type of race? highway/top speed? off the line?

 

I wanna say Touring, it had either the 2.7 or the 3.5, but No Hemi. and probably from a 30 MPH roll, on 14 mile road.

well, to give you an idea...my car is much faster than a 2.7L LX car, and im not sure what a 3.5L LX is capable of..i know it has more hp than my car, but its alot heavier too. anyway, amanda has work done to her truck, an from a stop, or from a slow roll, she walks my stratus...but on the highway, the gearing, aerodynamics, etc take over at higher speed and i get around her and pull away...from a stop im Pretty sure that your truck would win, but on a long run, the 300 would probably have an advantage at higher speed...however, im not sure if either of your truck, or the 300, is governed.

oh if the stang is a 4 cylinder then you would loose but with a 6 its would have been tight but with a V8 GT I dont think you would have any problem vs a 3.5 or a 2.7 lol .. well I think

Im not a pro in the street racoing world but a 5.0 can beat a 3.5 lol

The Stang is a 4 banger, but that is long gone... sadly i had to sell it earlier this year. So the remaining choice is the Dakota. and that has the 4.7L

and for that yr of mustang the 6 cyl was non exhistant, it was only the 4 and the 8. the 5.0 actually puts out less power than the 3.5, but the cars weight is what really would make the difference.

Yeah good job, some smart *** boys are always racing at school with his 1999 hyundai tiburon modded, the car look awesome but it still a small 4 cylinder so ...

I love acceleration but I wont race at more then 90 .. its just stupid ... If the dude want to race, he just need to take the car and find a drag strip

Well with your Durango I think you can beat him, they were 4 ! so around maybe 700-800 lbs, and you were alone, around 200 and you got a 4.7 V8 .. well you still got a truck and he had a car but ... I think you would ave win it
