I was on the express way today when a bright yellow fly's bye doing at leasy 100+ because I was doing 90. So I decided to catch up and see what the hurry was for!
So I caught up in a few seconds and paced him at 107. I honked to give him a look at me and signaled for a roll on, he nodded ok! So I showed him 30 roll.
We both braked and paced each other till we had a clearing. Finally we were ready, Three Beeps and it was on. He got the early jump at about two car lengths but I had a surprise for his sorry A**. The SC Kicked into full throttle about 65 and I rocketed past him around 115 or so By the time my gauges were buried He was in the rear view Flicking me Off!
So I slowed and got him to pull over. I asked whats wrong? Never been beat by 4x4 before. He accused me of spraying. I said nothing of the sort. Just good old fashioned Forced induction. I opened up da hood and showed Him. Man I had never seen someone so pissed off for driving a ford. The guy ranted and raved about how he did this and that to his cobra and got beat by a jeep! So to end our conversation I gave him a business card to our local Dodge Dealer and told him come over to greener pastures my friend!
So as we take off he tried to impress me even more by trying to jump the take off from the shoulder. Well as I passed him a second later I just shook my head and laughed!

AHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA! Thats great, a cobra getting toasted by a Jeep. But it was a Mustang Cobra huh, don't those come with 390hp stock? Either way, he got smoked. Congrats. [sm=smiley20.gif]

what does that jeep of yours put out, and is your engine the 4.0 or one of the V8s?

 

sick a** kill i bet the look on his face was priceless when u opened up the hood even dodges cousin put ford in it place...in the rearview...actually ther place is so far back not to even be seen.
