86 Stang vs a SRT-10
You see that white car in badstratrt's post.. That used to be a mustang 5.0L lx. He's done some body work with old milk jugs and RTV sealant. Runs pretty good with that 5.0L though.[sm=smiley20.gif][sm=smiley2.gif]
cant be a stang..its too fast...
on a quick note..there was a 04 saleen cobra that ran 10.20s with 2 people in it this past friday...
now, i HATE fords..but this car was really soemthing to see..
first run, with passenger, 10.20..
second run, no passenger..19.67...
turns out the blower spun so hard it stipped the inside of the blower pulley...and through the belt..but 10.20, with 2 people..mufflers, and street tires...

what were the SRT10s rated at in the quarter? i think around 12.50s?
and at the end of your post, what did you mean about hitting 75 and 120 and so on??
in my experience of getting to sit in, and rev the engine on the SRT10, i didnt think it sounded very good until i got up around 4000..i think dodge made it WAYYYY to quiet...

0-60 MPH: 5.2 secs.
1/4 mile: 13.8 @ 106 MPH
Here is one of many sources with the same performance numbers on the SRT-10 Ram: http://www.car-data.com/xpage.previe...odel=ramsrt-10
In Motor Trend the SRT-10 Ram did 0-60 in 4.8 and the quarter mile in 13.1 @ 108. With slight mods it is not hard to picture that truck in the mid 12's.
