Default 86 Stang vs a SRT-10

Okay so my friend and Me are in his 86 Stang (coming back from a mustang show) were in lincoln on West O street. And Who'd a thunk that a SRT-10 pulls up next to us. I looked at his truck then at the driver and Nodded at him telling him he had a KICKASS truck. So my friend puts it in neutral and revvs it. The SRT does the same. The light hit green and We take off
The SRT-10 is Revving up It sounds So Awesome at 2.5 to 3 Grand.

we hit about 75 we estimated he hit about 120 in a quarter mile.

Well all I can say is that Those SRT-10s are great trucks. Sound awesome, Look awesome. Pure genious Dodge!

what were the SRT10s rated at in the quarter? i think around 12.50s?

and at the end of your post, what did you mean about hitting 75 and 120 and so on??

in my experience of getting to sit in, and rev the engine on the SRT10, i didnt think it sounded very good until i got up around 4000..i think dodge made it WAYYYY to quiet...

i beleive that was what the various car mags had it listed as, but i may be wrong. however, we must keep in midn that when these tests are run, they have one vehicle at a dragstrip, alone, all day...so they can get ideal conditions and **** around with this and that. it isnt like they take one to the track, and make a pass and publish that speed. also, in most cases they list sale price, and price as listed, which is usually at least 500 higher...because they almost always have upgraded tires.
and as for the quiet exhaust, dodge already has a dealership installed dynomax system for it...

i was gonna say...if it was modded..it should have gone faster than 75...on the strip 75 mph, would equate to like 17.50s in the quarter...was he showing it at this stang show? or just viewing?
