Default rumble bee vs. honda S2000

I was rolling down rogers lane yesterday and past up a yellow s2000. I noticed acouple of seconds later that he was stomping on the gas and passining me, so I floored my new bee and quickly outpaced the Honda. I hear alot about these cars being light weight and having 245 horsepower but I expected more of a show. So I let this guy get beside me doing about 60 mph and started holding up fingers at 3 we took off and I smoked him again. I thought we would race from a red light a few minutes later but he backed up and went into the turning lane I know our trucks are not known for take of speed In reality I believe he would have beat me of the line. Does anyone know anything else about these little skateboards.

Im not flaming...because i am, obviously, a dodge guy...

but i have a friend with a bon stock 02 S2000, who im sure would put a large sum of money on the honda, and my safe money would be on him as well. that guy must have been in 6th gear or something. if im not mistaken they run low 14s stock, and the rumble bee is a hemi (345hp) with a dressup package. the S is 11.81 lbs per hp, with an excellent WD, with 51% over the rears. the torque is poor, but with the manual tranny, and the lb/hp ratio, the guy would have had to be an awful driver to lose to a ram, unless it was a pvo.

I'm with you on this one, the S2000 should have tore your Rumble Bee up. He must not have known how to drive at all.

I'm with both of you, the 2000 should of had the truck easily. No reason to flame people.

Exactly...power to weight ratio is a tried and true method of determining the faster vehicle...[&:]
