Since the Talon is gone I need a commuter/beater car to get me back and forth to work. I looked all over and found a '00 Elantra w/ 60K at Superior GMC and after lil bit of haggling I paid $3000 cash. I gotta admit this car for a beater is pretty damn nice. DOHC 2.0L motor, power everything, cold A/C and 5spd.

So far I already got mixed up in a few street races and beat the following cars:

1. TT Viper
2. T76 Supra
3. BBC 3rd gen Camaro
4. Cessna Skyhawk
5. turbo fed G35 (gods chariot)
6. turbo Hyabusa
7. 2 old ladies at NorthStar Mall (mall walkers my ***!)

Why did those cars even want to race an Elantra? Elantra's aren't exactly fast. But like you said sounds like you got a pretty good beater car to get you from point A to point B which is all that matters.

 

It must have a few APC, AEM, Stillen, etc. stickers as well to get it that fast.[sm=smiley36.gif] It must be both a Type-R and a Type-S at the same time, not to mention the possibility of it being a GT-R.[sm=smiley36.gif]
