Default Sterling Marlin and Aspen???

People who watched the Pocono race probably wondered what the heck is the sponser on Sterling Marlin's #40 Coors Light Dodge... well its a new low carb beer from Coors. The paint scheme is rumored to make a very more stops on the Cup Series circuit.

You really have to keep on top of all these paint scheme changes, weekly. I was looking for Sterling when I realized that he was not SILVER anymore.

Beer. I thought it would be skiing related. These paint schemes have a underlying purpose to generate income for the team through collectible sales. If a certain paint scheme is popular they will reproduce a diecast car or t-shirt for it.

Lucky for me I had seen the Aspen commercials before the race, so I knew what car he was when I saw it. LOL, I don't really care for the paint scheme though... but it's a Dodge so, I'm for it. LOL!

Just to let you guys know, he will be in the #40 Marines/Coors Light Dodge this weekend!

Salute to the Troops: The Coors Light Dodge will once again sport the Marines paint scheme this weekend for the Brickyard 400. This will be the third of four races for this paint scheme. Also, the Commandant of the Marine Corps, General Michael Hagee, will be in attendance for Sunday’s festivities. Country group Rascal Flatts will be singing the national anthem kicking off the Brickyard 400. The band, which is also sponsored by Coors Brewing Company, will be featured on the lower rear quarter of the Coors Light Dodge for Sunday’s race.

The #40 Prilosec Dodge, reminds me of one of my favorite paint schemes, the 2001 #40 Original Coors Dodge.

Yah I like it too... I have a model car of the original 2001 model, it's a template car... very cool, hard to get...
