BY THE WAY...i lost to a F'ing neon, in the mirada!! i ran a 12.78@103.7, he ran a 12.20@, get this...123mph!! thus serving to make me the laughing stock of the V8 group...until a few blown stangs lost to him when he got into the 11s...

there was also a 97 supra that ran 10.95@139.88[sm=icon_ladiesman.gif]

That's OK, you're not the only one.[sm=sigh.gif][sm=noooo.gif] I too sucked hind end this weekend, Trails track sucks in the left lane.[sm=icon_beat.gif] I was running about a full second off what I shoud have ran, it was all in my launch and the track conditions.[:@] The right lane was pretty decent though. The car was running on the warm side and half an hour isn't nearly long enough for a proper cool down, because as I returned to the staging lanes it was back up to around 210 degrees F. I also experienced other technical difficulties as well.[sm=smiley35.gif][sm=smiley7.gif]

 

What car were you running? That is real warm. I wonder if a water sprayer would help you out any if that's your intercooled car.

 

Yeah, it was the SRT-4. I thought about spraying my intercooler, but I didn't have any water. Next time I'll take a bottle of ice water to spray it with.[sm=goodidea.gif]

 

I'd try and find an old winshield washer fluid reservior and pump somewhere and a switch, and mount it right behind the front bumper. Run some lines and several squirter jets. Oh yeah. That way you can spray it right at the line. [sm=icon_rock.gif]

 

I would, but I plan on getting Stage 2 w/toys and it comes with an intercooler sprayer. Just a few more mods and I'll be getting the Stage 2 w/toys.[sm=smiley4.gif]

 

Man, wev'e had a 4 week break in our schedule, but it doesn't matter, I should have a big red light on my forehead.
I went 3 straight races out in the 1st round with red.
This is after cutting a .503, .516, and .509 in time tirals.
I'm living on the edge!
Then, at the 4th race I decide to lay off the light and cut a .605 to the other guys' .557 and I end up breaking out on the brakes by .003.
Ran a 12.627 on a 12.63 Dial. ...This year is shot, but I'm goin' racin this Friday and Sat, the 20th and 21st![sm=icon_rock.gif]
