Took Down a 2006 Hyundai Sonata
and a Cadillac CTS

 

so tell us the story....

The 2006 Hyundai Sonata Burgundy color decided that he was capable of taking me and DA Charger Down I only have the 3.5L but it acts like anV8 sometimes and this was the day.The Sonata got on my drivers side I looked over and smiled he looked backed and grinned also.All of a sudden while I'm looking at him he floors the car you can see it squat and the engine screamed I give it only half throttle we are side by side now I looked and thought to my self He cant hang withe use So I play with him IGoose it Twice and each time I get out a fender. Then we decided to shut him down just put it to the floor and walked Away.
Now for the Caddy I was on my way home from work with my friend in the car I see in my rear view mirror a SliverCTS Zig Zagging through the slow traffic behind me once he was clear he kept on moving fast
I decide to wait until he got on myrear I was doing aboutMPH I down shifted to 2nd and Bam it
kicked in with aneck snappingjolt I left it there and pulled away I got out about 5 cars so I backed down waiting for him to come up I decide to wait until he got on my side then I would floor it he passed me and was 2 cars out I catch him no problem now I'm side by side and I play with him as I did the Sonata but the speed is way up there Did the same Goosed it twice and I know I was near the cut off point of the trans but it seemed to pull past there.got out 2 cars and let off he went by but was going slow now I think we surprised him I do have Mods done to the car Air-aid cold air set up and the Mopar Duel Exhaust.

 

i thought the CTS was supposed to be pretty fast?

 

Yeah i thought the same thing but that air intake will make a difference. Thats awesome man.

 

The CTS comes with two diffrent Engines
The Base comes with 2.6L 210Hp
The CTS-V Has a 3.6L 255Hp
Which ever one it was I opened a
can of wooop @$$ on it.

 

wow a whole liter or about 80 cubic inches bigger and only a 45 hp gain? i would have thought cadillac could engineer better than that...

i guess i cant really talk though because the 3.6 in that cadillac is rated for more numbers than the 4.7 is...

 

Dude, the CTS-V is 400 horse LS2 6 liter V-8. If it was a CTS-V, you would still be picking up peices of your ***. Even if it was the 3.6 CTS, you would have been beaten....but no way in hell you beat a V series with a V-6 Charger.

yea you prob raced the 210 hp version you would have no prob with that but was the sonata a v6?
