Yeah at 2300 feet with just superchips and cai I ran 15.3 so I can shave atleast a half second from that and now I have a good freeflowing exhaust, ram air and 3.92's and a posi. Guys with my mods at lower elevations I have seen were mid 14's to high 13's. I'm running my truck on the 9th so I'll know what all those new mods did to my times.
wow...i would really be impressed with 13s with those mods...

it seems that around here, the only hemi guys who screw with me or amanda in her truck are QC guys...ive yet to run across a hemi RC while in her truck. it would probably be interesting..

What does her truck run? The QC's are a good amount slower. There are tons of guys in the 13's on another board i go on and a few guys in the 12's all motor.

Damn that's a gifted 5.9. I have a friend who owned a 96 indy ram and he ran 15.3's at 17ft with intake, msd ignition rockers and shorty headers.

i have removed the viscous fan, the AC, and the spare. running MSD ignition, a short ram intake, fastman TB, shorties, high flow cat through 3" exhaust and a turndown. mopar perf. computer, 3.92 gears and a set of old drag radials off the mirada...

it pulled a 2.08 short time...actually, i forgot to mention that the tailgate was off for the best runs..oddly, i think that it has more in it, as its best ETs werent its best short time. this was all on a pretty well prepped track, around 1000 ft.

Not bad. Does removing the tail gate make a big difference?

Ive raced a 5.9 Sport SC Ram, but no Hemi yet. There are ALOT of Rumble Bees around here and Daytonas, Most of the guys driving them are older and dont seem to want to race, im not the person that pulls up and revs up.. i wait for them to do it.

but the 5.9 Ram SC Sport i beat with bad tires.

I have never raced a Hemi before... in a ram, i have messed with a RT Charger with the hemi in it, but it wasnt really a race.... just some fast driving.. one a single lane road, i was right behind him the whole way... i want to find that guy again im SURE he will race me, but i think thoseChargersmight walk my ***, he has duel exhuast and thats all i can tell by looking at it. Unless they come stock with that exhuast i dont know.

i dont think so..the truck is so heavy (4351 track weight), and i would say that the tailgate weighs what, 80lbs? so it might be near a tenth of a second, but i doubt it...actually, for someone who doesnt have GOOD tires and a tonneua cover, the tailgate off is a bad idea..its been proven that an open tailgate creates more turbulance thus more drag, and for traction issues, you want weight behind the drive wheels to counter the weight of the engine...weight removal should always be done in front of the drive axles, but thats not always possible...so we pulled it..figured that since it would bite with the hoosiers, an extra 80lbs off couldnt hurt.

yeah that's what I was thinking, I'm also more into seeing what my times are full street trim so I know what to expect when driving down the road.
