Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

Default How to disable horn chirp when locking doors?

Anyone with an '07 Power Wagon know how to disable the horn chirp when locking the doors with the remote? The procedure described in the manual does not work. I had an '06 Power Wagon and I know it had an addendum to the manual that described the correct procedure, but I forget how to do it. If any '06 Power Wagon owners could remind me how it's done, maybe it'll workon the '07.

Thanks

We had the same question about our new '07 Ram 1500. The dealer informed us that on all the '07's, contrary to what the book tells you, this feature has to be enabled / disabled by the dealer on their scanner.

PS: The instructions from an '07 Dakota are identical - except that they work on that vehicle!

Thx for the reply. That's the answer I've got from everyone so far. Must have been a goof-up at the factory. That's a real PITA.

Thanks for the info. I have an 07 Ram 2500 that I was trying to do the very same to. Felt like a damned idiot following the instructions in the book over and over again having no success.
