i noticed that on the passenger side of my 1980 power wagon's front Dana 44 axle it has 2 studs instead of a u bolt to bolt the leaf springs to the axle. i am wanting to put an add a leaf lift on my truck but i will need to get longer studs and i was wondering where and if i can get these studs but a couple inches longer.

 

A good hardware store or industrial supply bolt kinda place or, you can not bottom the stud in the housing to get some extra threads, questionable practice there! 9/16-12 x 9/16-18 x desired length, double ended stud or maybe a length sized bolt, I never tried using a bolt though.
