Mods to 05'+up PowerWagons ???
I read in FourWheeler mag that they are going to do a "Project PowerWagon" & that will be one of the things they address. Getting them to work in high range . Can't wait for that. I am thinking about a triple battery system w/isolator & 2500 watt inverter as the first mod when we get ours. We do a lot of dry camping w/no hookups at all and even though we got a quiet honda 2000 watt generator, some places don't even allow that. How much of a difference did the AEM intake make-mpg-power???
intake was a OK upgrade, really didnt make a big difference, should probably do the exhaust for better results? gas mileage is bad no matter what, one thing for sure the intake roars when your on the gas.
I was going to add manual switches for my lockers so they would work in HI range.
The schematic is rather simple if you want to add switches. If you want to use the factory dash switches, it isn't so easy with the serial communications...
Then, after my first trip to the sand dunes, I realized that once the lockers are engaged at slow speed, they stay engaged as long as you stay in 4-LO. My Truck easily goes 60mph in 4-LO...I don't see the need to use the lockers in 4-HI?
I suppose some might want the rear locker engaged in 2-HI, although I find the limited slip works pretty good.

I have added a Superchips flashpaq tunning, Magnaflow muffler, O.E.M. cassette and compact disk stereo, and tinted the front windows.
I will be swapping out the tires in a couple of weeks. I bought some "Hummer" H2 take-off tires really cheap a few months ago. They are 35" BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/As. I can't wait to put these on and fill in the wheelwells a little and have the truck go up an inch in ground clearance.

dont have a power wagon but if i did (it would be a reg cab long bed) i would proabably get a spray in liner, put a bull bar on the front (black powdercoat) and i might get the lower part of the truck (where the factory 2tone goes) sprayed with the spray in liner stuff....

Took delivery on friday. Sat-took new tires & rims off and put on the 33" Cooper SST on Atlas rims from old truck on it for the winter. K & N replacement air filter went in also. It will easily handle 35" tires even when towing - as 6th gear @ 55mph is 2100rpms. The auto was around 1500 rpm @ 55mph and 2100rpm @ 70mph. 1st gear low range is about 2-3 mph @ 3500rpm. The flex w/sway bar disconnected is unreal, the top of the tire drops down just below the body. Will take it hunting tomorrow. Weather is supposed to be crappy, good time to test it out more. Also put a filter-mag RA365 on it.
Have a 2007 powerwagon just bought, like to know if your 33" tires work (mostly with sway bar disconnect). Planning on 295/70/17, 33.25", wondering if they will rub. Thought about leveling kit 2", also dont know if your suppose to add them to powerwagon?
