Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

Default interesting question

I was wondering if anyone can answer why my 74 ramcharger has full doors rather than the standard 74 door with no window frames. The doors are original to the truck to the best of my knowledge. i.e. same paint all the way through, original door tag (and yes the VIN matches the the dash VIN AND the frame VIN). The truck was a forestry service truck and it had a rear seat delete (not sure if the same is true of all or most forestry R/Cs). I only ask because it came up in the search for a new hard top. when i finallyfound a guy in southern ca with a top for a 74, i drove out to pick it up only to find that it was for a window frameless truck. i was able to find a top for it eventually by buying the top off a wrecked 79. so long story short, my truck is a little "different".

Default RE: interesting question

Well Mopar had crazy options on cars and trucks. If it is a forestry truck, I would assume Chrysler would build to suit for a contract with the government.
