I have a 1986 ramcharger that wont start, when i turn the key i get a click sound, and it thats about it. I got the battery tested, cleaned all the terminals and checked all the wires for loose connections and i couldnt fine anything wrong, i think it might be the started but i would like to get a second opinion of what it might be, thanks

 

you might want to check your timing and/or ignition system

 

you might try bridging the gap[running a jumper wire]at the electrical connections at the starter selenoid on the starter. if this causes the motor to turn over then it's propably your starter relay. you might try turning over the engine manually to make sure the motor is not locked up also.[back yard mechanic]
