Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

I cant anser all your questions but if its an auto and only a 3 speed you probably would have a 727

I agree, probably the 727.
Just my opinion' but I'd stick with it.
Parts online, http://mopartruckparts.com/
The curb weight of your truck should be on a door tag, listed under tare weight.
Do yourself a favor and get yourself a Haynes or Chilton manual specific to your vehicle. It will be very informative.
Congrats on the acquisition. Ramchargers are awsome.

With the 360, if it is an auto, it's the 727. That trans is plenty stout, but benefits greatly froma shift kit and good converter. We built a torqueflite that runs in a 1,700 HP, high 6 second challenger. Of course, it's got about $5k worth of upgrades. but anyway........

The 4 wheel drive ramchargers weight in about 4,500 pounds.

As for parts availability, the RC is basically just a 1/2 ton truck, aside from the rear of the body. Anything mechanical is readily available from Napa, Carquest, Checker, Autozone, etc. Body and trim has decent new availability, and anything else you shuld find in salvage yards.

The RC is a tough old truck, and becoming rarer. Enjoy your critter and take care of it.
