How far do your bumpers stick out to allow room for the winch inside? Im thinking in the ballpark of 7 inches? Mostly interested in how far out on your '08 but also your 75? Nice trucks by the way!
what size metals did you use? I will message you when I get the time to build it if I have any questions, right now Im having a "wonderful" time doing tranny work to it. That truck is sooooo cool!!!!!!!!!

3/16 is what I was thinking. 1/4 would be too heavy. Im thinking of using 5/8 for my brackets and 3/8 for mounting plates. Looks like most of the winches are about 6.5 inches deep so the bumper would have to be around 7 inches for enough room plus a bit under the grill. Did you make a mounting bracket for your winch or did you buy it?
Thanks for the info!
