Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

Default 440 in a r/c

Anyone put a BB in an R/C? The 83 318 has 301,000 on it now and is getting tired. That is my next winter project after demo derby season is over. I have a drive train out of a motor home, 440/727, and was wondering if there were any major problems that anyone encountered. I know I will have to move the trans cross member and shorten the drive shaft. Will the 8-3/4 rear stand up to the 440 or should I put in the Furd 9 out of the 79 Lincoln Continental with the disc brakes? The 8-3/4 needs a rebuild, as the wheels can be moved in/out 1/4 inch. The 9 only needs new brake parts, as it has been sitting over 3 yrs. I like the idea of having rear discs.
