Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

Default 1974 dodge d100 440 swap

hey i'm new here but i was hoping that maybe i could use some of your knowledge. so basically i have a 74 dodge power wagon d100 4x4 it has a 318 in it but its got low compression in two cylinders so i figure why not just go with a bigger engine? so i found an old rv that has a really bad body that is being sold for really cheap and it has a good low mile 440 and a good 727 trans. so my main question is does anyone have any experience with this? or does anyone know if this will pretty much bolt in there? not sure what year the rv is i think it was made sometime in the 70's

The only real problem is going to be the 4x4 parts needed to install on the 727 are getting hard to find. If you do the swap, I need the bearing from the 2wd tailpeice off of your 727MH trans. pm me if you do anything, thanks, mike
