Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

Default New and looking for help

Hi, I'm new here and looking for some help. I just bought my first 92 Ramcharger LE. I usually have stayed back in the mid 80's. I need to replace the speed sensors, but I'm not sure if it has 2 as I've been told, or just one. I would appreciate any and all help. It has an automatic transmission, and all my older ones have had 4 speeds.

Welcome to DF
In some case's on the early transmission, there was two sensors. There was one on the tail housing and the other on was mounted the to the transfer case. There was other speed sensor that was mounted to the rear axle too, but that is for the ABS. What is the problem that you are having?

The odometer is not working, and I replaced the cluster and the sensor on the tailshaft on the drivers side. But evidently the cluster I bought is bad also. Because I still have no odometer. They are supposed to send me another one. Is there anything else that I can try to fix this problem?
