Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

Default Kicking Tires

I am buying a 1992 Ramcharger 4X4 that I will pick up the first of March. It currently has street tires on it that I would like to replace soon.
Is there a tire out there that will be happy with mostly highway use, and still perform off highway?
There is no rush to do it. My goal is to have it as a driver that is used off road.
Anywhere I go would mean travelling on the highway as I live in the country and since I live in Texas so snow is not an issue but mud is.
The 4X4's I have had in the past were used mainly off road in Deep East Texas woods, lake shores and along coastal beaches.
