Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

Default 73 power wagon rear diff question

Hi all, Im new to this forum. Just rescued a 73 power wagon from previous owner. The rear diff has a small leak but the back plate is smooth, how do i remove it to fix the leak? Thanks.

should be a 8 3/4 or some guys call it the 489 cause it's stamped 489 on the side
anyway if it is that rear end the third member has bolts on the other side.. the front of the diff where the driveline goes into it.. you'd have to take that apart.

The Ramchargers came with a 9.25.
