Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

Default Adding a Magnaflow universal catalytic converter to my 77 ramchager?

I'm a proud owner of a 1977 Dodge Ramcharger with the 5.9 360, it also has headers and an old flowmaster exhaust that I'm planning to change. I recently had my original engine rebuilt in order to add some performance mods and goodies and I love how the engine performs now but one thing that I hate and I've always had is the strong smell that comes from the exhaust, I'm obviously used to the new car exhaust smell which is almost none but I was thinking on adding the Magnaflow universal catalytic converter to my ramcharger, I know that it reduces emissions which is good but does this system help to reduce the strong burned gas smell on the cab and on my whole house or what does it exactly do? What about performance? any experience? Thanks
