I have an 89 Ramcharger with the 318/ 727A combo but I want to switch to a manual trans. Which one is better to use? I have done a little research and found that the NP435 and NP445 was factory for these trucks but does anyone know if anything else will work?

Also, can I use a 4x4 trans on a 2wd?

 

Gotta have a 2wd trans. It has the tailhousing you need. (4x4 does not.)
