85 ramcharger question concerning gas hand indicator
a couple of days ago i took my ramcharger to the shop, i found out a seal needed replacing
on the engine, after returning home i noticed my gas hand indicator did not move it was on empty
i have a full tank of gas.... could the repairman
have disconnected something while checking underneath the vehicle to cause this to happen?

If I remember correctly, the power will go through the gauge to the sending unit. As the resistance increases, the needle will read higher. Somewhere in the circuit, there is a break. I think it's a ground issue. If the hit wire was shorted out, it would read full all the time.Possibly you just need to clean the ground at the fuel sending unit.
