Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

Doesn't look to be in too bad of shape, and a 440? OOooooooo. Looks like it already has a bit of lift to it? and 8 lug axles.... Were those stock? Or has it been modified already?

Numbers matching too!! Dana 60 front and rear, military tires 35" and the guy I got it from put the axles on, and it ran good but 0 brakes. Keeping the 440 and trying to decide on the ZF8 or WA580 tranny. ZF8 requires no taller than 3.73 gears and wa580 is rated @ 420ft lbs torque max. I want to be in the 500HP range and 600 torque. Four link and some really cool ideas for the interior. The plan is to only use Dodge parts unless it is totally aftermarket. One more month and start the tear down!!

They make controllers for the zf 8, and that trans has the advantage of being able to handle the torque from a big block. Will have to have some adapters to bolt it up..... maybe, but, that shouldn't be too much trouble. Good machine shop could do ya up. Put an NP205 behind it, and you would be all set.

An awesome base to start with.

What happens in a month? Just waiting for better weather??
